Is Karl Rove finally dead politically?
It looks like his strategy of rallying the base to get a 50%+1 victory isn't the impeccable strategy that many thought it was. I'm wondering if he will get involved in the 2008 Election, and if he will take sides and work for a specific candidate? Or will he stay out of that race after being shunned?

1. I don't know, but we should stock up on Karl Roach spray just in case.
And keep spraying in the meantime, as it has a cumulative effect.

2. As someone who has watched many of the Friday the 13th's
lock that sumbitch down and make sure he doesn't get out.
We don't need a sequel.

3. Political advisors are like NBA coaches.
Even if they suck coaching one team, they always seem to get another gig because they've got 'NBA Level Experience.'

Think of guys like Bob Shrum on the Dem side who haven't won a thing in years yet still keep getting hired as consultants. Even Carville and Begala fit that bill to a point.

Someone will hire Rove. He won't go away.

4. I want to see if he gets involved in a 2008 campaign
He will have a career after this year (he needs the money to pay off his legal fees, doesn't he?)

7. I have no idea
All I know is that his reputation is severly damaged by this and it will take a long time to recover, if ever.

8. will he be able to work on a 2008 campaign from his prison cell?
and won't it interfere with his job as a license plate maker?

12. No, he'll contend he got his base out, but it was the middle--indies
who were the decisive factor.
