53. To clarify #38, the conditional ballots are being treated as precincts. |
|
If you go through the data, you'll see that each locality now has one or two conditional precincts, with zero totals.

60. Yes. The OP is wrong to say "% of the vote". It's "% of PRECINCTS" |
|
that appears next to vote totals. See the bottom of http://sbe.virginiainteractive.org/nov2006/l_02.htm . Notice that there are now 2599 precincts in all for the 134 reporting jurisdicions in the file. The total number of precincts reporting as of this morning was 2439 out of 2443. When the extra precincts were added, the percentage must have jumped from 2439/2443 to 2439/2599.

Really interesting: the total number of votes was not reduced, but the number of districts reporting has been!
The number of voters is increasing. Are these absentee ballots or something? I don't get this. Could be election theft.

36. Added Conditional Votes Precincts for every Central Absentee Precinct |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 04:52 PM by Liberalator
It appears Virginia is attempting to count the Conditional Votes by adding one Conditional Precinct for every Central Absentee Precinct (see example from Fairfax County below). This increased the number of precincts from 2411 to 2599.
Office: U.S. Senate Precincts Reporting: 2458 of 2599 (94.57%) Registered Voters: 4,555,533 Total Voting: 2,368,700 Voter Turnout: 52.00 % Candidates Party Vote Totals Percentage J H Webb Jr Democratic 1,173,732 49.55% G F Allen Republican 1,166,382 49.24% G G Parker Independent Green 26,225 1.11% Write Ins 2,361 0.10% View Results by District Locality Total: 2,368,700

|
I fully share the suspicion that this could be an attempted theft. Here's a quick way to cement Webb's victory.
Even a quick minute here and there until the election board counts all the precincts will be very helpful. Just see the energy of the recent changes flowing through him and feel that he's the next senator. Breathe normally. We can fill this bucket even a drop at a time.
