2. That's just plain impressive.
That's the unsung story from last night.

Here in Illinois, we re-elected the Democratic governor, re-elected the other state offices, took the remaining state office (Treasurer) from the Republicans and solidified the majorities in the state legislature. The Republican party in this state is even more adrift.
