I have been napping on and off all day with the tv on (trying to make up for not sleeping at all last night) and it is so good to see and hear so many Dems getting the air time that they should have gotten all along over the past 5 plus years.

It's amazing what a difference a day makes.

1. Oh yeah! Dinah Washington's song comes to mind:
"What A Difference A Day Makes"

What a difference a day makes
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain

My yesterday was blue, dear
Today I'm a part of you, dear
My lonely nights are through, dear
Since you said you were mine

What a difference a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss, that thrilling kiss

It's heaven when you find romance on your menu
What a difference a day made
And the difference is you

What a difference a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss, that thrilling kiss

It's heaven when you find romance on your menu
What a difference a day made
And the difference is you

2. I especially like the CNN interview going on .....
with Nancy Pelosi entitled "CNN's Exclusive interview with Madam Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi" with Wolf Blitzer. They keep getting back to it ...... too cool. :toast:

4. Just for today--- it is amazing. I am loving it.
I've seen lots of Nancy Pelosi air-time today. She wears it very well.

5. ain't that the truth!
Their directors and producers must be spinning madly trying to figure out how to change the direction of the machine and stay on air seamlessly.

I say stock in Tums, Rolaids, Mylanta, Pepto Bismal, and Malox are looking very good right now!

6. Since the dems will be coming into power, will the ration of
repubs to dems change? Will it now be 2 dems to 1 repub on the cable news and talk shows?

8. I actually turned it on for a short few minutes this morning
and they were still trying to spin it as the bad dems did something wrong. Have they changed their tune yet? Are they more on board with the reality of the situation?

10. Oh gosh
They have been all over the cable networks today. Hoyer, Rangel, Biden, Pelosi, Murtha, ... just to name a few.
