What Gives?
This just seems so unreal... I keep thinking I'm dreaming...everything has been uphill for so long, it's really hard to grasp the fact that we won, and that there is real hope! Hope, I tell you-hope! But I guess I'm skeptical, because why would the fascists take a break, I mean, why didn't they rig another election(although it would've been hard to get away with).. I don't understand... Have they grown some brains? Are they going to take their war profiteering money and quit while they are ahead? Have the old coots just gotten tired of the whole rotten mess? What gives?... I hope this is not the calm before the storm!!!

I don't have a link. But someone posted exit polls for PA, OH, RI, MO, TN, etc. and compared them to the official results. The exit polls were right, or at worst, a point skewed in one direction or the other. (No consistent skew across races, though.) Then VA and MT... big difference between the exits and the reported results.

I agree. They tried their shit and it didn't come through for them, somehow.

Edit: Here it is.

3. They had to pick and choose where to do their dirtiest work
The spotlight was on and people were prepared this time. Too many people were watching for their tricks.. so they chose to focus on the really tight Senate races. Also .I think they had to be too cautious this time and just weren't prepared for the turnout. A fatal combination of paranoia and hubris? heh. Besides the wheel always turns.
