Some of the Santorum's kids posts make me embarrassed to be here.
Yeah, their father's a moonbat asshole. But they're KIDS. They are up way past their bedtime, standing in front of bright lights and hundreds of people, they know Daddy's sad, so they're sad too. Sure, it was Sphinctorum's choice to place them in the spotlight, but that reflects on HIM, not the kids. Anybody who feels that mocking these children is acceptable must have chuckled when Rush Limbaugh called 13 year old Chelsea Clinton "the White House dog." It's beneath us.

1. Can we drop the kids issue?
Yes, Santorum is an asshat. Not, it's not very good to make fun of kids. Next issue.

10. The kids thing must have been a GOP directive, though
I went down to observe the Florida governor victory party in St Pete, hoping for some good photos of thinking people telling Crist and Martinez to go to Hell. I was disappointed as no crowd showed up. What I did see was noting short of child abuse. It's one thing for Republicans to be Republicans, it's another for them to drag their innocent children into the mud.

But seriously, I was surprised at how many folks showed up with their children, including toddlers and those in arms. I dind't think a boozefest like a political victory party was the best place for kids. But then my family has very strange ideas about drinking, we don't.

2. I won't even click on them. I don't take a back seat to anyone on hating Santorum
but, I'll be damned if I am going to become one of the freepers.

6. Well said.
Politicians' kids get "paraded" (shoved into pictures) at one time or another by both parties as part of political life. Detest Santorum, and too bad he didn't make a judgement to leave them out of that unhappy moment, but that STILL doesn't make them fair game.

4. I agree. If you think watching them cry now is bad,
Wait till they get old enough to realize what a real asshole their father is.

Kids should be hands off! It's not their fault they ended up with a losing ticket in the gene pool lottery.

7. I don' t know about that, tmfun
Those kids will probably grow up to be as nasty as their daddy. They're homeschooled, sheltered, and brainwashed with mom and dad's sick religious dogma.

5. I beleive I was the first one to post that picture this morning, under the title "AWWWWW..."
I've been at work all day, and I'm sure things have got really out-of-hand. (that's what makes this board great IMHO!)

I thought the pic kind of spoke for itself. Sorry, but this guy paraded his kids in front of the camera, and it invites comment. Judging by their garb (and their dad's political views), these folks are living in a 1950's Leave it to Beaver la-la land. If it reflects badly on anyone, it's the parents, not the children. I'm sure they're sweet kids, they just have f*cked up parents that dress them funny.

8. I'm a PA'er
My loathing for Santorum takes a back seat to nobody, but I have no bad feelings towards his kids. One of the things I hate about many Republican's is that they're cowardly bullies - and bashing his kids is just that.

9. OMG
Rush Limbaugh called 13 year old Chelsea Clinton "the White House dog." .

That's awful. I can't believe I missed that (not really surprising considering I have listened to the man once some ten years ago).
