It is notorious for very close election results. My district is the most Democratic district in the US that is represented by a Republican. The last time there was a recount was in 1994 when the Democrat Sam Gejdendson won by 4 votes. So I guess this is a landslide compared to that! I have faith the numbers will hold but I guess Simmons wants to save face.
