How do we get the tub filled again with meaningful legislation? I want to see meaningful steps taken for national security. Get out of Iraq ASAP. Turn the so called war over to intelligence and law enforcement. I want a third party to see the Iraq and Afghanistan are rebuilt. I want to see educators in charge of NCLB, not legislators. I want health care legislation that is good for everyone and covers everyone. I want responsible spending. The tub was drained quickly. It will take a long time to get it filled to the level it was in 2000. It can be done.

Revenge would make me feel good, but do nothing about the water level in the tub. I have to be adult and responsible in dealing with the (ugh) republicans. Those voters who went to the polls for us yesterday expect us to set a good example. Let's do it.
