So... what's next for Tammy Duckworth?
I was really hoping she would win this one. What becomes of her now? Will she run again in 2 years? Or is she done with politics.

And do we have any Iraq War vets that were elected last night?

3. We could sure use her back home
though she could have, and still might some day, followed her fellow Honolulu native Barack Obama into greatness in Illinois politics. (What? You didn't know that? His sister still lives here. He comes back every Christmas.)

Then again, we're now stuck with our fatuous repuke governor ("Bush is the greatest president (sic) ever") for four more years. By then I'm sure Tammy will be gainfully employed elsewhere.

the election officials in dupage county are some of the dirtiest scum on the planet.
i honestly can't believe she lost. i had voters in my polling place in chicago mad that she wasn't on their ballot.

7. If she wants to run again she should at the very least move into
the District.
