At IHOP customers said bush supporters are brainwashed...
I live in Kingsport, TN. This is E. TN which is traditionally red, but right now bleeding purple, IMO.

Across from where we sat was a group of seniors...about seven or eight. One guy said bush supporters are brainwashed. Another said he was glad to see Rumsfeld go. Pretty much they were glad of the democratic wins and hopeful of seeing some real change.

My RW mother and grandmother both were very quiet and not saying much. They still support bush. *sigh*

1. If Pelosi and the other Dems deliver on healthcare,
the budget, etc, then they'll have to face the truth about the party of FDR being the ones that deal with real issues. Bush et al had every opportunity and they squandered it in favor or preferential tax cuts, delivering profits to the defense industry, and trying to "keep the queers from gettin' mar-reed."
