Did Michael J. Fox make a statement today? |
|
I keep thinking about him. (and Christopher Reeve)
I think Fox may have really affected the outcome of the whole Senate election. I think his affect was more than the repuke backlash.
Anyone listen to ugh, Rush today?
I visited several RW blogs today, and they are trying to keep their spirits up, saying that maybe this is a good thing, because they can now get back to the true conservative movement. Also saying that after 2 years of a Pelosi-led Congress, Americans will be ready to vote for a repuke president. (uh, right) Many of the comments were of taking guns to the lot of us! Many of the comment-posters were ready to move out of the country. (sound familiar?) They seemed resigned to losing VA, and having a Dem Senate too. There was so much bush-bashing, I couldn't believe it. But, they do NOT see this as a rejection of the "Conservative Movement," just as a protest against the war. They also see the Rummy firing as a good thing, a smart move....altho some of them pointed out that bush was not staying true to the mission, was bowing before political pressure.
