How's the Madrid-Wilson Race Looking?
Wilson right now is ahead by a little over 100 votes with 99% reporting. I read elsewhere that there are 5000 ballots still outstanding, and there will probably be a recount.

What do you guys think of this race? It would be unfortunate if Madrid loses this because she was leading most of the night and Wilson is one of the more odious Republicans. Although if Madrid loses, she might still be a good candidate for Pete Dominici's Senate seat in 2008 should he retire (Madrid has been elected statewide multiple times before and even if she loses this race, she'll still have outperformed in a GOP district).

1. AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Out, damned Wilson, OUT!
I want so much to hear that Madrid is in!

Although, I have to admit, I really like your alternative scenario.

Thanks! :hi:
