NOTE TO WHINY BUSH BASHING FREEPERS: What the hell were you thinking?

As I sit here today, comforted only minimally by the thought, that with yesterday's shift of power in the house and the senate, that there will soon be at least SOME measure of oversight over this current corrupt administration...

I cannot help but scratch my head at the sentiments expressed today by the many bitter denizens of "Free Republic" regarding George W Bush.

Disillusioned and angry Freepers;

Over the last two years I have avoided reading your pathetic and delusional site, because frankly, I have found your blind hero worship of George W Bush, just too horrifying to read, even for the purposes of trying to determine what the hell is going on in your heads.

However, today I took a glance at your repugnant cyber base after reading a post on another site which stated;

"Freepers head's exploding over Bush's press conference"

I clicked, I read and I am STILL scratching my head...

Bush being an insincere, and inept criminal comes as a surprise to you, HOW, EXACTLY?

In circa 1999, when it was announced that your beloved little cowboy booted, faux Texan emperor, was throwing his ten gallon hat into the primaries, a number of people such as myself, who were BTW not particularly partisan at that time...TRIED to WARN people like YOU and your ilk about George W Bush.

Your own money whore of a web site founder used to rant and rave about the entire Bush family in the late 1990's (have you tools forgotten your fables about Clinton and Mena, Arkansas that you spent so many an hour spreading like some malignant cancer around the net?)

But let's set aside the Jerry Falwell developed "Bill Clinton dead list" type conspiracies for a moment and examine a few highlights about your now fallen hero George W.

At BEST George W is a spoiled, intellectually lazy man who has spent most of his life profiting from his families political, social and financial connections without actually accomplishing anything on his own. After all how could he help it that he was born, as Ann Richards so correctly stated "With a silver foot in his mouth"

The fact is Freepers...you may hate Dan Rather and you may have merrily assisted in his demise, with your *font discovery* but the story was true and while some of you risked your asses in Vietnam, Georgie landed a cushy place in the champagne unit of the guard and then went AWOL.

At worst George W Bush is a calculating, criminal minded, sociopath, who, after inserting himself into the highest office in the land (by dubious means) has spent the last six years robbing both the American people and her treasury blind.

At best George Bush was the hapless victim of a very close election in 2000 that resulted in his being appointed and not elected, as the President of the United States.

At worst George W Bush was an arrogant and active participant in a fraudulent election which nearly resulted in the unraveling of our very Democracy.

A system that almost ALL of our ancestors...both Democrats and Republicans have at one point in time died, or sacrificed to protect.

At best George W Bush listened to incompetents when he was first installed into office and allowed his Attorney General to back the FBI off of known middle eastern terrorists, who were planning to attack within the United State's own borders.

At worst George W Bush knew of an impending attack in late Summer of 2001 but chose to look the other way because it was politically expedient for him to do so.

At best George W. Bush made a terrible tactical error when he put his focus on the invasion of Iraq, instead of focusing on the capture of the mastermind behind 911 after we invaded Afghanistan...an error which allowed UBL to escape out of Tora Bora on a mule.

At worst George W Bush had no interest in capturing UBL or his accomplices and consciously used 9-11-01 as a ruse to invade Iraq based on lies and forgeries about the non-existent *weapons of mass destruction*

At best George W Bush had nothing to do with the hanky panky by Diebold in Ohio in 2004.

At worst George Bush and his brain Karl Rove rigged the 2004 election with their cronies at Diebold.

I could go on and ON and ON...botched 911 terror warnings, Enron/Lay, Abramoff, Abu Gharib, Katrina, Halliburton, the Dubai ports deal, male prostitutes in the Whitehouse, pedophiles running rampant in our homeland security department, no body armor for our young men and women in iraq, border security issues and blatant outsourcing to bankrupt the middle class, price gouging at the pumps, the suspension of habeas corpus laws, secret torture prisons on foreign soil, Mark Foley, evangelical leader/ meth using white house consultants, how to build a nuclear weapon on the net and on and on and on...

The list of potential high crimes and misdemeanors committed by this administration is literally too long to remember and most likely too long to list, or keep track of.

But then deep down Freepers...you know that.

Somewhere in your thick stubborn heads you people know that George Bush is indeed accurately described in the "at worst" scenarios I have described above because you folks not only KNEW the truth about him...you ENABLED HIM and helped him along at every step.

And now you wring your hands and cry about it because YOU feel betrayed by his incompetence?

Welcome to the club...there are a lot of us who have felt betrayed by this *person* that you have championed with blind devotion for the last six years.

Riddle me something freepers...what about bush and his long history of lies and deceptions against this country and it's citizens made each of you think that somehow YOU would be different, or special in the eyes of this con-man ?

What exactly made you think that your little troll of a leader and his upper tier of thieves would never lie to YOU?

You've been had...gamed, played, screwed, punked and a host of other verbs that I could use if I wanted to go beyond a PG rating in this rant.

If you had one OUNCE of decency....one OUNCE of that integrity you people claimed you were going to "bring back to the White House" when you enabled this empty suit to squat there, you would lean on your party and DEMAND HIS RESIGNATION.

As happy as I am on this day, that after six years, our system has HOPEFULLY been at least somewhat restored to the check and balance mode that it was designed to serve...I have to ask you what the hell were you thinking?

But more importantly, what the hell are you going to do about it other than whine?
