That would be my preference...I don't want an anti-abortion Dem in charge of our Senate. We have better men.

Harry's a good man, but NOT our best.

6. Yeah, I have this same objection to Murtha as Majority Leader in the
House. His NARAL rating is zero percent. I don't know if that's really such a big deal where the rubber meets the road (so to speak), but symbolically it sorta sucks. That someone who is in the minority of the Party, and in the minority generally speaking, should become the Majority Leader...

Gettin' a little tired of the tail waggin' the dog in this country.

I think Clinton would probably make a good majority leader, but maybe that's not in line with her own plans? Also, she's not been in the job all that long, so I suppose it might ruffle some feathers. OTOH, she raises money like some kind of freak, and obviously knows how to play the game. The fact that her enemies admire her says a lot.

She's also managed to stay on Lieberman's good side, which might be important...
