Doesn't it feel great to see GOOD FINALLY PREVAIL?!
Over the past 6 years, it seemed like the Republicans could just rape and pillage and loot our country and not only get away with it but call us traitors undeserving of American citizenship for calling them on it. We told ourselves, "the pendulum always swings," but it can't if Diebold built the clock. But they are finally getting theirs, after 6 years! I don't know about you, but this restored my hope that there is justice in the world!

1. I am still in awe that our democracy exists. I truly thought they
had an iron grip on the entire electoral process and that they would never, never relinquish power.

4. Mega-thanks to...
All those wonderful citizens who hovered around the polls to make sure no funny business went on...those who manned the phones to take down reports of voter fraud...all those who protected our precious right to vote.

See what happens when an election is clean? DEMS WIN!

2. Yes, it feels so good. I believe I
will get my first good night's sleep in 6 years tonight.

3. I am outta my mind with joy. Oh, and as it turns out, it is my dear
Uncle Tommy's birthday today - he's 81, and a lifelong Democrat who once considered running for office. He's havin' a FABULOUS birthday!!
