The adviser said that Allen was disinclined to request a recount if the final vote spread was similar to that of election night.

Not votes. Causae those can't be recounted. What can be 'recounted' is the precent totals that the machines spit out. And those have all ready been checked several times.

Just like they wanted. No paper trail. Nothing to 'recount.' End of story.

Hope he likes the new modern way of voting. If he doesn't, then maybe he should have thought about it when he WAS in a postion to do something about it.
