It's funny. Perhaps if Bush hadn't sucked like no president ever sucked before in modern history, |
|
the Republicans might have maintained power in the House and/or Senate for years to come.
In a weird way, Dubya was so horrifically awful that he was good for us by concentrating our anger and energy to create change NOW.

2. Clinton's act was hard to follow |

plenty of jobs that you didn't have to go to India to get, a great economy with the middle class thriving, low interest rates on credit cards. Home mortgages up. Those were the days.

4. He's still horrifically awful, which is still good for us. |

I want him to be the poster child for the Republican party for two more years.
He's contained. He's not a threat. It's the surviving Republicans which should be talking about impeachment.

Dear President Bush:
On behalf of the Democratic Party and the citizens of the United States of America, we wish to extend our great thanks to you for ensuring a resounding Democratic victory in the 2006 elections. If you had not sucked like no president ever sucked before in the history of our nation, the Republicans might have maintained power for years to come, eventually ushering in a police state. Fortunately, however, your industrial-strength suckingness, in particular your repeated wiping of your ass with the Constitution, ultimately caused the people of this nation to vote with their middle fingers.
Once again, thank you so much for defying the laws of physics and demonstrating that you are able to suck and blow at the same time. We'll never forget your invaluable participation in our victory.
Sincerely,
America

one of cush appointments he didn't deserve, in which he thoroughly trashed the thing he was handed.
Crappy grades in an Ivey League school that he had no business attending. Trashed companies like Arbusto. Even that baseball team got screwed by the moron. The state of Texas, and then of course... the whole GOP.
It's just too bad he also wrecked things like our national reputation and the Constitution. Still- it's sort of funny, if you take a few big steps back from it.
