My Brother

He has a brain tumor. He was recently operated on, and was/is in bad shape.

He had a problem remembering anything, but.....

After the operation, I kept trying to wake him up, and was having trouble.

I said "good news!"

He barely opened an eye, and said

"what, all the republicans are dead?"

It was then I knew he was, at least temporarily, back.

The Repugs may not know it yet, but the american people have let them know that they may as well be dead with their beliefs and actions.

I'm so glad for you, and for your brother. The last time I remember seeing you post, you were having some problems with your health, and I remember being worried about you. We are both so happy that our hopes have come true, and dreams are on their way.

10. Like this one. Last month, the 95 yr. old mother of my friend was not

doing well. In the hospital for several days and seemed to be unresponsive. My friend is sitting by her bedside and holding her hand, the TV is on CNN and * comes on flapping his jaws. Her mother says (eyes still closed), "Shut that thing off! I can't stand him!"

Needless to say, she wasn't as unaware as my friend had thought. We have chuckled about it, calling it the time that "* called her mother back from the grave!"

12. Politics has a way

of causing us to express ourselves even when we think one can't.

It was amazing to me that my brother responded the way he did. I had been trying to wake him for over an hour after the operation. He's a maniac about politics, so should have expected something like that, but it still made me laugh.
