How much sleep have you had in the last 24 hours?
I think I've had about two hours if that much. I stayed up with many of you GLUED to the returns. With all the excitement today of taking the House and Senate and with Rummy resigning--it's been a FULL twenty-four plus hours, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!!

WE DID IT!:bounce:

12. 4 hours. It'll probably only be 5 tonight....contemplating all the things
this means! So many sad nights worrying about this country and where it is heading, enduring the corruption, the blatant arrogance of the opposite side while they were on top, the crazy spending, the borrowing done for the Medicare Prescription plan, spending on the war per day, the Supreme Court nominations, the Military Commissions Act, the AbuGharab (sp?) spectacle, the right to die case spectacle, watching the minority in congress get shut out of closed door meetings, watching the co-mingling of church and state (and I'm an evangelical), the constant association of 9-11 with Iraq war, cuts in student loans, the spy bill and how they were squeezing things into bills in the middle of the night....oh I can't think of all of the things that have worried me to death.

We're just going to have a heckuva time undoing them. I hope we will undo them. The Military Commission Act especially.

Woke up four hours later, and I'm still going. Tough work for us old farts (60).

17. Actually,
I slept extremely well last night. My feeling of relief is so profound that I may stop waking up at night in a cold sweat worrying about my government.
