He was just ahead of his time...
He knew we could energize more than just the base, he knew we could build a 50-state grassroots movement that would result in wins in the most improbable of places...
As much as I wanted Dean to win the nomination way back when, I think party chair is the PERFECT job for him. He's a great fundraiser, he's tougher than nails, and he's not afraid to push back. He's thankfully gotten better on TV, with practice. I adore him, and am so grateful to him.
Gonna pull out a Dean tshirt to wear tomorrow, in his honor...
