Who are some other Republicans in the Senate due for check-out in 2008?

11. Wayne knows he's history in 2008
I, as a Coloradan, have been eager to vote the next D to get him off our fucking chair for Colorado. He's a embarrassment, and he kisses too many asses, and loves Musgrave.

25. Since when do Republicans keep their promises?
I've seen them break it. I expect Allard to break it too.

2. The election of Norm as an abomination, one that will certainly be
corrected in 2008, pretty teeth and all.

3. i personally want his ass out the most in 2008
and he only won in 2002 because first of all Wellstone died and then the media made a big deal about the Wellstone memorial and how horrible Democrats were being.

...sights I'd rather see than Norm the Weasel getting his ass handed to him. Oh, what a beautiful prospect.

mistily,
Bright

15. If The Pugs Lose in the Midwest As Well As The Northeast
If the 'pugs lose in the Midwest as well as in the Northeast, "turncoat" Zell's prediction of a party being "A National Party No More" will come true, all right. It just won't be the Democrats. It'll be the Republicans!

18. yup... Al Franken has been very politically adept it appears...
His networking, stumping for all kinds of Dems, and fundraising for a Democratic PAC has really positioned him nicely for his run-- Plus he has tremendous name recognition, is funny (well at least sometimes)and reasonably well informed (compared to many at least).

He learned well from Paul Wellstone. Those lessons will make the difference, I'm willing to bet...

21. Agree with Coleman.
I think that slimy bastard is ripe for defeat in 2008.

Would love to see Chambliss lose, but I'm not sure if that one is doable.

27. You're a very good judge of character, kingofalldems.
He used to be a Democrat, but wasn't going to get anywhere in the party in Minnesota, being a newcomer and all to the state. So he jumped parties in order to further his political career. He doesn't have any principles he can call his own other than "I'm #1."

30. Sununu in New Hampshire
New Hampshire flipped blue dramatically this year, the Democrats won the state House for the first time since 1922. If we can get a good candidate, Sununu is toast.
