Speaker Pelosi, Majority Leader Reid, Judiciary Committee Chairmen John Conyers and Pat Leahy. Yup, that part has sunk in.

Minority Leader McConell, Minority Leader Boehner and Republicans having to play by our rules and vote on our legislation. That part is just starting to sink in. This is the first fully democratic congress since I've seen since I've known anything about politics (I was 7 in 1994).

1. Me too. I don't know how to participate on a discussion board
when my position is not the underdog position. Not being part of the minority party will take some adjustment.

3. I know, it will be quite a change
When I started focusing on politics, the Republicans were in control, so that's all I've ever know.

4. Think about some of those Class of '94 Republicans
They've always been in the majority, had the best offices, run all the meetings, issued all the subpoenas. Now? Done, done, done. Gone. Over with. Somebody else is swinging the gavel, and it isn't Newtie or Bobby or Denny.

9. We weren't lucky enough in NE Indiana
Best chance we have is for Hayhurst to run again against him.

We do have a 5-4 Democratic majority delegation now. It was 2-7

Visclosky (1)
Donnelly (2)
Carson (7)
Ellsworth (8)
Hill (9)
