Tonight we sleep the sleep of the righteous
Last night anxiety and tension. Tonight, the best sleep in 6 years.

2. Yesterday we finally applied the brakes to a runaway train.
I'm too shaky to be ecstatic -- but I'm very, very relieved.

3. I share your feeling...
Once I heard that the Dems officially controlled the Senate, I felt an enormous weight lifted off of my shoulders. Tomorrow morning, I will go to the elementary school that I teach at and have a very optimistic outlook on everything! That's very different for me, because for the last six years, I've been nothing but pessimistic and seriously considering not having kids in a world like we HAD before Dems controlled Congress. Now things look brighter! lol
