And he never did give up. What he says about TR, could easily apply to himself.
He lost in 1960, then fought back. He lost in 1962, and hit back at the media. And he came back in 1968 and won.
And, when he was betrayed in 1974, he came back - and he fought on. He always fought for his country. He never gave up.

I remember that President Nixon, spoke of his mother. She was a Quaker by religion. He said "my mother was a saint". Perhaps that statement reflected her influence on him.
Even today, inspite of those two wretched men- Woodward and Bernstein, some of us wonder what was the measure of his sin? What if others in that office were recorded in every private conversation?.
