We should work in a bipartisan way with them--NOT! |

Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 12:46 AM by PretzelWarrior
wait......didn't Grover NOrquist, the 'club for growth' guy who laundered Abrahmoff money to Ralph Reed say bipartisanship is another word for date rape?
Didn't the right wingers call Democrats traitors and weak and unAmerican?
Didn't they completely tear down and destroy good solid war veterans like Max Cleleand, John Kerry, Jack Murtha, and others merely because they dared oppose and disagree with lunacy on the part of the right?
Didn't they shut Dems out of meetings and keep them from being able to read legislation?
Didn't they take a majority of slimmest margins and ram all manner of unamerican and unfair policies down our throats?
Well, FUCK YOU and your bipartisanship. YOu guys just go pee yourselves over in the corner while the people who actually support and respect good government roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
You have no rights, Mr and Mrs. Minority. Dems will listen to whatever you have to say with respect, but then they will say 'tut tut' about your crazy maniacal stammering about endless war and death tax and then go about the people's business with or without you.
A NEW DAY HAS DAWNED for AMERICA.

They were too vicious and arrogant to now believe they want to be nice.

I think Nancy Pelosi is a rock star |
|
I never ever ever ever had any desire to watch house proceedings. But now that she's there gaveling sessions in and leading the house, I think I'll tune in more.
AND THANK GOD WE GOT THE SENATE!
Dems should tell Bush to send the nominee names over. We'd be HAPPY to pass them through committee and put them to an up or down vote.
BUWAHAHAHAA
One of my few regrets is stupid ass Frist doesn't have to sit through sessions in the minority.

6. I think they're not used to having their boots on our necks |
|
and we're not used to standing up again. It's like a jujitsu move where suddenly our guy is holding the gun and their guy is disarmed. They have to bluff at first. It is all they GOT.

2. The picture in my mind is of Dems having to meet in the basement |
|
because the GOPers denied them access to any meeting rooms.
bi-partisanship is just a dirty word in my dictionary.

Too fucking bad, neocons! You've got it coming, and by GOD I for one am going to be writing to members of the majority party of both Houses of Congress (that would be the Democrats, by the way) to try to insure that you AND Dubya AND Cheney get just exactly what you deserve! Get your rest. You're gonna need it!

4. oh you know it. I wondered if I had a voice. |
|
now that I am SURE I do....the we can matter, my energy is renewed. I will be writing personal letters AND emails to my 2 senators, my congressman, the chairs of a few key committees in both houses...and urging others to do so.
Oooooh boy. this is gonna be good. Sound policy and debate returns to both houses, AND we can get them under oath.
