How Many House Seats Did We Gain? |
|
Is there a definite number yet? The New York Times and dKos say we gained 29, MSNBC says we gained 33. What's the real number?

It's at least 29 guaranteed, but we are up 167 in CT-02, but that's going for a recount, but we should take that. We are within 1200 or so in WA-08, but provisionals and some absentees totally 5500 are yet to be counted and they are from pro-Dem areas, so who knows there. Same thing with NM-01. WY-AL is within 900 or so, but I don't know if we can make that up since it's Wyoming and not a lot of total votes in the first place. OH-02, mean jean's seat, is still up for grabs since there are provisionals and some absentee as well.
I say we take CT-02, WA-08, and NM-01 for a total of 32 gain. CT-02 is pretty much a guarantee I think so I can see we hit a nice even 30 at least.
