The wingers are eating their own... I hope they enjoy the meal
On the night of Dim Son's second coronation, I told Will Pitt and Andy Stephenson that this would happen. It was so fucking obvious.

The wingers are totally pissed off at Boosh for losing this election. They're going to regroup and do it very quickly. And they're going to do this sailing on the corpse of Ronald Reagan. They're version of "Going Back To Basics".

This is where it gets very critical for us. The Democratic leadership MUST take control in body and mind of ourselves. We do no have overwhelming majorities, so hammering home legislation is not going to happen as smoothly as we wish. Rep. Pelosi has it right, we must now project and act as the party of integrity. We must all hang together, otherwise we'll hang separately.

They're ready for us to fuck up, and if we do, they'll be all over us.

I say, go on the offensive, start reversing the tide of horrible Republican legislation. Next, kick the legs from under Republican fear tactics. Expect the repugs to talk up FEAR. All fear, all the time. Terrorists, illegal immigrants all kinds of other bullshit. In this, we must take the lead and educate the American people that these bugagboos are empty fears. We must project that we are the party that has the cojones to be brave and reject that fear.

We're the United States of America. We should have no qualms about calling conservative scaredycats what they are. "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself." We have to go back to our own basics.

When "Reagan Revolution Principles" are thrown out there, its important for Democrats to be educated on the Gip-Zombie's real legacy of criminality and his war on the working class, and to make sure that the electorate remembers why it was rejected over the years. I remember that Americans were so soured on the "Revolution" so much at tne end of Reagan's regime that they couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Somebody needs to put a stake in that vampire, post haste.

Believe it or not, the Goddamned Republicans are still going to run on the issue of "Family Values." To counter that, we need to continue to expose them for the hypocrites that they are. Investigate and prosecute their criminality, greed, malfeasance and ineptitude. Baby, that's the Mother lode. We can always go to that well. Hamstringing those assholes is a definite must.

On the other side, we must stand by our core principles and hammer home what they are. The 6-Point plan is the guideline to stand by. And WE must ensure that Congressional Dems stay on course. We, ourselves, have to hold them to this. This is our calling card: http://www.democrats.org/agenda.html

Most of all, we must lead. We must take the bully pulpit. We must project unity and strength.

We must turn the tide, do it quickly and do it consistently.

2. We need to start pushing middle class friendly bills...
up to Raisinbrain's desk. Make him veto popular legislation and as he slides in the polls, so will the Congressional Rethugs. They don't realize it, but in minority status, they are now even more tied to his popularity ratings.

7. The Republicans are extremely good at "Talking the Talk" but know absolutely
nothing about walking the walk. Most have never worn the Uniform of the US military yet are the first ones out there advocating for war and telling everyone how it should be done. Reagan was perhaps one of their best at "talking the talk". That is how he got the title of "Great Communicater" He was a good flim-flam man. Bush* is pretty good at flim-flam as well but none of these folks have any real on the ground experience and their total incompetence was put on public display for six long years. Most Democrats on the other hand have been there. They have experienced the problems they want to address. America has made a sound decision and is on the road to becoming a much better country. One can feel the nation starting to regain it's composure and confidence as I type these words. The stock market should start to flourish after a six year stagnation. America is on the road to better times for all. The Republicans showed they only cared for other Republicans and not other Americans and that is over now. Democrats will stand for All Americans and their biggest challenge is to undo the divisiveness that the Republicans created in the land for their poitical gain. Let the "Tug Boat Theory" begin...
