4. Satisfying- but habit forming
We don't want to become the enemy.
The republicans were the least graceful victors in American History.
I think their gloating was one of the things that kept my anti republican ardor up during the dark days between 2004 and yesterday.
We don't want to help the enemy in such a manner.
But I would hate to deny the sweet pleasure of rubbing it in to the DUers who earned it.
So I propose we rub it in until after thanksgiving 06. That gives everyone one shot at the freeper relatives.
Then we get our focus on to the Herculean task of repairing the damage our enemies have done to America.

5. I allowed myself to gloat for one day only.
Now it is back to work holding all of our politicians accountable and working to get us out of Iraq as soon as possible. When you have friends over there like I do, that has to be the ultimate goal for now. Then we can move on to other things.

12. In our area, all the Repub lawn signs disappeared overnight.
Maybe they were afraid we write down a list of who The Stupids
are.

(Actually, I've always thought this would be a pretty effective
tactic, especially with businesses who are so sure of their positions
that they feel it's okay to piss off about half of their potential
customers.)

8. I was angry yesterday. REALLY MAD that it took so long. I feel better
much now. I had a friend yesterday who was angry too. I guess being pent up all this time requires a release.

9. Junk Food Diet! May Feel Good But Creates Many More Problems.
The troubles and trouble makers of the past six years have not gone away. Do not think for a moment that the easy part has begun.

Just trying to get a handle on the scope of the major problems facing the government will give the hate filled GOP slander and slime machines opportunity to destroy your efforts. Every positive effort will be fought and hindered by the GOP and their minions.

Fight the fight but be prepared for the worst kind of assaults.

10. As a mod on another Dem site,
I did pick on some of the 'pugs' who chanced to enter...and had to straighten out the remarks of many of our indies and greens who tried to tell us what we should do now to solve 'all' our problems.

Some were pretty surprised.

13. Yesterday was very enlightening.
The rabid Bushbots that I know suddenly dont care about politics, even though on monday they were screaming about a huge Republican win. I wonder if its shame causing this, or just them being sore losers.
