2. DemSenate? Rumsfeld? Why did no one see it coming?
Has any reporter ask the question, "Why did no one see it coming?"

Wouldn't it seem that if the election was legit the Rethugs would've had contingency plans?

5. Important connection, there. Surprises from the voters is the soul of democracy.
It's the nature of government to get out of touch with the people. That's why democracy works--periodic reality checks.

7. this "Wave" (Tsunami?) was forecast by Cook and others for quite
some time. Another example of the arrogance of the GOPers and media - heads in the sand...thinking that the only reality is that which they create. Boo Hoo...

9. they saw it coming
or at least the possibility. Of course with Diebold in control of selections the Dems were reluctant to predict anything beforehand.

The Repugs saw the possibility for Dem wins too but prayed to Santa's helpers to come through. Repugs are very good at denial so it will take awhile for the implications to sink in. They'll try as hard as they can to obstruct.
