we chit-chatted about the election/rummy's resignation, hopes for real changes with the dem congress

then he say with a big grin on his face "when cheney said a democratic victory would embolden the enemy, he was right, it's sure as hell emboldened me!!!"

Anyone notice Bush's Freudian slip in yesterday's press conference? He was trying to refer to a Texas campaign as a "write-in" (?) but momentarily described it as a "write-off"! I will admit to my ignorance regarding the former but feel sure that the latter is a more accurate description.
