Congressman Cox was a key sponsor of the so-called "Private Securities Litigation Reform Act" - passed over Clinton's veto - which has been used by the likes of Bernie Ebbers, Kenny Boy Lay, and State Street to refuse to turn over documentary evidence. The "automatic stay" on discovery gives corporations an unfair advantage in the courts.

Time to repeal that provision, and time to eject Chris Cox, and install a real watchdog at the SEC, not a lapdog for BushCo.
