CSPAN caller: "Vote was media-induced against the war.... |

and a fake media frenzy over Republican corruption."
Can you say "unhinged"?

1. Denial...But I Can Sorta Relate... |
|
In the days after the '04 election I lived in a haze. I felt Kerry was going to win and the events on election night and thereafter hit me like a ton of bricks. I, like many, denied we had lost...that my worst fears had been realized. I think many wingnuts are still in that state.
Would you expect anything else out of a cult that can't assume responsibilty?

5. Kerry won the election by a comfortable margin. |
|
The machines gave the election to Bush (along with a lot of other shenanigans). Plenty of evidence to show that Kerry won. None that shows that Bush won (except the machine results).

6. I felt the same as you but it was because I actually thought Kerry would win |
|
All the polls said it. In this case the polls have been decidedly against the GOP for months. They all should have been fully prepared for this loss. I watched all the Kerry/Bush* debates and in my mind Kerry was so far the superior candidate I could not conceive a rational person voting for Bush* over him. I was devastated, not for Kerry's loss although that really hurt but for the loss of my country which I always believed to be very rational and intelligent. That is what devastated me and this election is very encouraging for me. America is giving the Democrats a chance to "walk the walk" Now if they don't at least put forth a bill Nationalizing our Health Care I will not ever be tempted to vote for them again. Democratic principles must be put into effect or what is it all about...

3. As if in reality people LOVE it when their neighbors and relatives |
|
are killed in Iraq, and are happy that tens (hundreds?) of thousands of Iraqis have been killed for no purpose. Yep, the media really had to persuade people of that.
Oh, yeah, and corruption. Hey, we don't mind when our tax dollars are spent making sleazy phone calls to teenage pages, and we don't care that lawmakers are bribed and beat their mistresses in motel rooms. Right!!

9. They sound quite at home in Bush**'s alternate reality |

But none of them can navigate a rational thought, even with directions.

10. Did you hear them yesterday? If not, do a DU search for |
|
"Washington Journal" and you should find my thread listing a number of their incoherent rants. One guy was going to call his broker and invest in body bags so that when 10 or 12 American cities "light up" he can "make a killing in body bags." It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic.
They were foaming at the mouth yesterday. I just caught a couple of comments today but they're certainly still unhappy, sure the sky's falling.
