Just saw Nancy Pelosi's interview by that woman Katie Couric. |
|
I would have gotten up and walked out. Katie had this look on her face like she was smelling rotten eggs....and was rude to Nancy.
I wrote CBS, and told them this country wants change. And begin with Couric.
Katie went on about how the democrats "don't have a plan"..blabbity blabbity blabbity....

1. CBS sure didn't get their money's worth with that one. I have |
|
yet to watch anything she does, and don't feel any future inclinations to do so.

6. Maybe Democrats "don't have a plan" because the M$M refused to report it |
|
Or could it be that it's hard to make detailed plans when republiCONS have closed door, repub-only meetings and refuse to share critical facts with the Democrats?
Think that might be the case, KatieCourageless? :eyes:
Oh, but, then you knew that for years and refused to report it.
Shame on you. You're nothing but an overpaid stenographer, Courageless.

8. She said to PELOSI that Democrats don't have a plan? |
|
Pelosi, who's got a First 100 Hours plan?
Did Couric do NO homework?
Wish I could get her salary for pulling Republican talking points out of my ass.

16. LOL - like Wes Clark does? |
|
Wes Clark, when confronted with such hostility, sits back, smiles and then continues on with HIS talking points instead of answering THEIR talking points.
He's a primar in how to do it. He should teach a class on it or something.

19. Another thing Clark does that I like |
|
I saw an interview wherein the blow-dried talking head tried to misrepresent something Clark had said and Clark very firmly but politely tore the guy a new one and called him on deliberately trying to make it sound as if Clark had said something he didn't say. Wes definitely has a set of brass ones--I hope he runs for office again.

Other Dems need to take a lesson from him, especially now, when the media is going to try everything they can to make us look bad.

13. Why bother writing to complain? |
|
They won't listen. They are the GOP Corporate Media. They will continue to trash Dems (remember Gore and Kerry?), on and on and on. Doesn't matter where the Repugs have led this country. The GOP Corporate Media will continue to shill for their masters by working to destroy democratic government.
They will never be "fair and balanced."
Turn them off. Work to continue to build the new alternative source for news, information and community instead. In the future, the GOP Corporate Media will go the way of the railroads as opposed to the "horseless carriage."

It's their worst nightmare. TURN. THEM. OFF.
I can find out anything I want on the internet, I don't need to watch the corporate whores spewing right wing talking points on TV and I don't need to listen to it on the radio.

They are not giving me a product I am interested in. Sorry, but their advertisers fall on deaf ears in my house.
Give me a product I am interested in, and I might buy. Otherwise, I am wasting my time demanding and expecting them to be real journalists serving the American public.
They stopped serving the public years ago when they aided and abetted the witch hunt and impeachment under false pretenses of Bill Clinton. Remember? That was a not so subtle hint that they were not interested in serving the interests of the people.
The BIG clue was when they starting ramming George W. Bush down our throats at least 2 years before the 2000 campaign. With the exception of a strong showing by at the time "maverick" McCain, the GOP Corporate Media anointed George W. Bush as the Repug nominee and then went on to be complicit in Grand Theft Election.
Get the picture? They are not now or ever going to suddenly start being journalists serving the interests of We The People. They are the GOP Corporate Media and the best thing to do to them is to turn them off. They are now irrelevant.

20. She did the same thing to John and Elizabeth Edwards in '04 |
|
She looked like she loathed both of them and her questions were rude and of the "when-did-you-stop-beating-your-wife?" nature.
Haven't watched her since, or any of them for that matter.
