My gas prices went up 3 cents last night

4. Ours went up 10 cents overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday

Big Oil is trying to take us for every penny they can get between now and January, when the new Democratic Congress takes over. Be prepared to hear the typical "supply and demand" defense to the blatant price gauging during the holiday season.

7. I noticed this, too.

Gas at the truck stop I pass going to work was $2.12 yesterday morning, but was back down to $2.06 today. Wonder what that was about?

I guess they figured that they would stick it to the truckers first, then move on to the rest of us, probably just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, when all kinds of travel will be taking place...
