The more shrub vetos, the better
Since the Dems have total control now, (albeit, with Holy Joe having to play ball....), I want to see bills stacking on his desk that show his true colors. He's NOT for the environment, he's NOT for health care, he's NOT for stem cell research, he's NOT for anything that'll hurt big oil. His interests are NOT aligned with the people and the more vetos he makes the more apparent it will become to the 30% out there that still think he's doing a heck-of-a-job.

To me, that is the test of whether or not the Dems are truly going to stand up for their beliefs. We've got BOTH houses. The pukes didn't compromise and neither should we. Time to get this "president" to play ball. If he doesn't, the people will see it.

1. The First Bill Will Be Minimum Wage Increase = VETO!!
His First Veto, will be to shoot down the Minimum Wage Increase that the Democrats are going to easily get through in January.

And you're exactly right! The way to destroy george even further, is to make him show how ALL his policies trend Against the benefits of the American people.

Please be aware that george's help is not done. He still needs to get Us the White House in '08, so everything we can do to help him get us to that victory is great.

2. The signing statements will just get longer. After all the congress is just advisory
under the theory of the unitary executive.

Unless the dem's are willing to play the biggest game of chicken this country has ever seen Bush will go on as before.

3. If the dems keep writing and passing bills, then
* and the thugs he repersents will eb called the obstructionists - and the dems can no longer be labeled as a party without any ideas.

4. the majority in the Senate is predicated on two independents.
This will give the dem's the advantage of committee control but not a clear or consistent voting majority. Other then to insist on his own seniority "Holy Joe" has announced an independent voting stance. If there is one thing that the repugs have shown talent as it is divide and conquer. And the Dem's never do anything in "Lockstep".
