Freepers flipping out over speculation of Bolton being on chopping block

http://hotair.com/archives/2006/11/09/bush-to-make-rose-garden-announcement-at-1135/

If Bush lets them take out Bolton….he is a traitor to the Republican party.

Bolton is the best thing that has happened to the UN in 50 years.

msipes on November 9, 2006 at 10:22 AM

If Bush fires Bolton, he’s dead to me.

EF on November 9, 2006 at 10:24 AM

If Bush lets anyone go, he is officialy the biggest joke of a president we ever had. As a evanservative I would be extremley PO’d.

16. Since they'd only give up Bolton for someone like Eichmann or Goering, no.
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 10:49 AM by txindy
Although it is funny to watch them melt down and criticize their idol. Where's the love? :eyes:

Not very loyal, are they?

We get to have Yosemite Bolton fired and watch Bush die in the eyes of the only morons left that support him.

20. I think you're correct
I work with a RW nutjob who alternately refers to himself as an "evangelical conservative" and a "compassionate conservative" and he happens to love Bolton. Why? The evangelicals hate the UN and anything they can construe as the US of A working with UN. I think it has something to do with their plans for the rapture. They want the end of days to come and see Bolton as a man who will push us into WWIII by not cooperating with the UN. They are a sick, sick bunch of people.

26. Oh I can answer that one!
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 10:58 AM by Clark2008
Evangelicals and their similar ilk WANT to encourage and aid Armageddon as quickly as possible.

They actually believe that they have some control over God's will and that they can do something on earth to hasten what they call The End Times and the return of the Christ.

They consider Bolton's appointment to the UN to be one of the steps needed to create worldwide instability (which is true) that would lead us more rapidly toward said End Times (which is not true).

What they don't consider, however, is that nothing us little Men can do will change, predict or determine God's will - and it's both folly and unChristian - to think you can.

32. Bolton would like to crucify people?

Maybe it's Bolton's help with the poor and sick? (See Darfur)

His ability to turn the other cheek?

His meekness, and general fuzzy demeanor?

8. Bolton has to leave come January 3 anyway
He wasn't confirmed to his post, remember Freeps? Couldn't win confirmation even from the corrupt bunch of motherfuckers who were stinking up the Senate last term. So Bush had recess appoint him, and the termination date was filled in as soon as he was appointed.

Lord, what fools these Freepers be.

Bush is already the biggest joke of a President we've ever had. Unfortunately, it's a sick joke. He didn't need John Bolton to prove that.

His time is almost up anyway. Bush was going to be forced to toss him aside regardless. He now just gets to score some points while doing it.

33. Note to JVelez

If Bush lets anyone go, he is officialy the biggest joke of a president we ever had.

And if he doesn't let anyone go, he is officially the biggest joke of a president we ever had.

Either way, he's a grotesque joke.

Damn that Colbert! What on earth made Comedy Central sell out and put that brilliantly persuasive conservative on the air right behind Stewart? Truly he's their secret weapon for the '08 elections.
