Now is the time to increase our presence on Talk Radio
Air America and whoever else is out there should take advantage now and seek to get themselves on as many stations as they can. We need to push our agenda forward, and re-educate the American people!

3. Now is the time to SHRINK right wing radio
We need to set our sights on getting Rush and the rest of them OFF MSR. They've done ENOUGH damage. They need to be DISAPPEARED.

4. Talk radio is just a small part of the media we need to take back.
Or at least be equally represented by. Now does everyone understand why deregulation is a BAD idea? Can we put the media back in its place now?

5. I've always been on this bandwagon
I live in rural America, where Rush Limbaugh is the voice of politics and there is NO OTHER VOICE. Maybe those who don't live in rural areas don't realize how many people listen to talk radio but I see it and have experienced the results in my very red district. Rural Americans, especially blue-collar construction workers, farm workers, etc., listen to talk radio to keep their minds occupied. It's time for them to hear the other side of the story.

Maybe the first order of business should be to find out who is advertising on right wing shows but refusing to be aired during AAR shows so we can boycott. We are the majority now and we have every right to air time for our views. IMO, no airtime is what made us lose for so long.

6. I would say that any Dem in the House or Senate these days
should get news out only to the "lefty" personalities ... make the righties do more than just read press releases ... make them work for a change, instead of being handed market-tested catchphrases to bash "lefties" with ...

7. We certainly can't deprive those RW screamers of their Deep-Pockets Daddy Dingbats.
(Scaife, among many others). But restoring the FCC's Fairness Doctrine would go a loooong way towards make them think TWICE, before spewing lies and/or slander.

9. Exactly... We need to reverse those deregulations
by the FCC. I hope this becomes a top priority.

8. Here's the good news in that respect
After these election results, "Blue" corporations should be a little more willing to sponsor Liberal talk radio. Whether that can save Air America from the moles within at this point is debateable, but there's the new Nova M network as well. When even Limbaugh himself admits relief that he no longer has to "carry the water" for these Bush clowns, it's a sign that right wing radio is over, and we have to fill that void.

11. That is my hope as well
I've never understood why the market has blessed the righties so much over the past few years. I'm not for shutting them down, but I am for getting some balance out there.

Censuring speech is never good. But making other speech available is.

10. Armed Forces Radio/ Limbaugh
It is no wonder that our Military are repubs, the only thing they get to hear is limbaugh. This article said they have been fighting for awhile to get some balance.

12. Yes. Time for Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh & Ferguson to leave.
They have spread their hate speech for too long. Now it's time for the truth to come out.
