Elections Over - Gas Just Went Up!
Wasn't much of a surprise, was it. I wonder how long it will stay up? I'm guessing for the next two years at least.

9. The refining companies had been demanding our extraction company
to deliver to them for the last few weeks. Thankfully they have been holding back due to the lower cost, you know "things happen, we had this problem and that problem." They have just been telling them they'll get the oil to them as soon as they can, I'm hoping they hold out for better than $61.

12. Is there any reason for gas to go up?

Due to greater demand, shortages, outages, supply problems, WTF excuses this time?

We NEED HEARINGS!

13. there's a surprise.
and the sun rose this morning, too.

It will stay up until it's politically convenient for it to drop. What a coincidence.

14. I had to fill up yesterday and noticed that the price of regular unleaded
in Annapolis, MD had gone up a couple of cents from last week. But on the drive to the metro station our local all news station had their "Price at the Pump" feature and announced that over-all the price of a gallon of unleaded regular in the Washington Metro area had fallen another 4 cents from the week before. Uh-huh, sure.
