Damn That sucks!
So young. Too bad. He seemed really cool too. Bummer. I love how he interviewed Howard Stern. He almost got him to cry. The hip earing thing. Great guy. What a shame.

5. Long may you run Ed, long may you run.

We've been through
some things together
With trunks of memories
still to come
We found things to do
in stormy weather
Long may you run.

27. He MC'd at several Jimmy Buffett concerts and did a few interviews
with him on "60 Minutes"

I saw Bradley at the JB show November 21, 2001 at Madison Square Garden, NYC. It was the last stop on Jimmy's tour for that year, and he made it a special benefit for the victims of September 11. He gave away the whole gate $$$ that night - over $1 million.

Jimmy has a couple of tour stops coming up next week in West Palm Beach and Tampa, FL. I suppose he'll play excerpts from those interviews as a tribute.

You'll be missed, Ed Bradley.

18. I wonder if this is the type of leukemia that is prevalent in males in that
age group? My uncle died of leukemia at 65 as well. Apparently, a particular type is a risk in this age group.

29. Ed Bradley was one of the crown jewels of CBS's news division
The consummate professional and an outstanding journalist. His reporting on "60 Minutes" was something I always anxiously looked forward to. I had no idea he was so ill.

RIP, Mr. Bradley. You will most certainly be missed.

31. Yes. That's it.
"Gentle and understanding". That's how he struck me as well. A real human being and wonderful journalist. Not one bit of the "Hey! Look at me" syndrome that infects so much of the air-head news media today.

RIP, Mr. Bradley. Thank you for your well-lived, too short life.
