Morale on DU has never been higher

It's fun to be on DU when people are relaxed, optimistic and happy.

Last week, the tension here was palpable. People were jittery, and snippy and a little paranoid. I was just as guilty of this.

1. Yes.. I enjoy it between the times when

we start sniping at each other for the smallest imagined infraction...

2. People making posts bitching about Al Franken and others whining about the 2008 elections ...

It's good to have things back to normal again.

Now comes the really 'hard work' of representing the people!

4. Unless you've been elected, you can't work at that

Our work is to a) influence our elected representatives to represent our constituencies well, through effective activism, b) educate our fellow citizens on the issues, and c) lay the groundwork to elect able representatives in 2008 (and in 2007 for some local races).

That job started on Wednesday. But given the hangovers I figure it's okay if we got to work late :)
