Celebrate now, but still, be on guard!! |

Yea!!! We won the House and the Senate! And it's really great to celebrate these long deserved victories! I only hope, that beyond all the celebrations, someone is recording the RW reaction. With all the reaching out to us Dems, it's nice and all, but we should still be on guard from these people. I pray people are recording the likes of Pat Robertson and Rev. Falwell. (please excuse the spelling) We Dems may need these sound bits sometime in the future. Our win is only a win for two years and I think we should all know that. In '08, these very same bastards will be back and I think we should be ready for them. Watch, as hard as it may be, and record these idiots of the RW, those like Rush, Hannity, and Coulter.... later we may be able to use the very words from their mouths back at them. Hey, these people have shown us what they mean to do....and they did it in the last six years. Don't trust Republicans, all of them who claim to be extending their hand to us now after they have no choice.

A resident of the nursing home I was working in had the 700 club on and I could hear Pat Robertson making what sounded like 'let's get along' sounds. I just know that that tune would change as fast as possible if Republicans gained control somewhere. These people are ridiculous and the American public deserves the right to know what these people are, especially since they threw their so-called values and views so deep into the last three elections!

7. Vigilant? I will have an eye on anyone who even voted for Bush in 2004 for the next 10 years. |

The Neo-Conservative movement is not going to evaporate into the ether because of one Democratic victory anymore than the Islamist movement is going to disappear from the middle east. We must remain hypervigilant. We must not give up until we have a Dem presidency with a balance of Moderate and Progressive democrats, until our enemies are the Moderate and Conservative Republicans and not crazy fascist theocrats who deserve to be in some minor extremist party that get 1% of the vote.
And even then we need to be on guard. We pushed fascism back about 20 feet, but it's still not out of the building and it most CERTAINLY is not off our property.
