Strange feelings
In an odd way the elections still have not sunk in for me . I suppose it will take time sort of like being in a prison for 12 years and suddenly being let up , alot of adjustment to do and alot of problems to solve and time is short .

All the talk about october surprise and an attack on Iran and still I do worry bush may attempt to pull something before jan . I can't shake this feeling simply because I can't imagine bush giving in or changing his mission because of the election turnout . Or he may pull something horrid after the dems take their position so to blame the democratic party .

Rummy is still in place until jan and Gates looks like no change at all or maybe worse .

All I do know is it's will take a very long time to repair all the damage done and alot of this damage is beyond repair , you can;t bring back life lost .

I can't imagine bush working with democrats and I vision him staying whatever his course may be .

1. I know how you feel. I think it's important for us to
hit the ground running and keep * off balance (as if he's not already off-balance enough on his own). I just hope the people we elected have it in them to do that.

2. we need to stay on top of these issues
I have'nt seen any info on what's going on in the gulf by Iran since the elections . This may be normal at this point in time .

It just concerns me that this is not the time to find the news about what's going on in the middle east to be ignored .

Just a week ago this was talked about alot , I don;t want it going down the memory hole because it is still a very dangerous situation . Bush still has the power to do what ever he wants and I am not convinced he and the neocons will just back way with all the freak efforts they have put into controlling the entire middle east and the oil .
