The midterm elections are over, and I would just like to say thanks to all the apathetic, fat, cannot-get-off-the-couch Americans who did not vote, and to all the spineless, gutless, do-not-have-any-clue-what-this-election-is-all-about Americans for putting the Democrats back in charge of Congress.

We have liberal Nancy Pelosi with her "San Francisco values" as the House speaker, two breaths away from the presidency; she thinks that the war on terror is nothing more than a police action. She wants illegal immigration - I guess so she can have access to cheap labor to work her grape fields at the winery she owns in Napa Valley.

We now have Democrats in charge who will be pushing for higher taxes and will help to destroy the moral fabric of this country with their liberal homosexual agenda.

And if this election was about the war in Iraq - and the American people no longer have the guts, courage and backbone to fight this radical extremism, just as we lost the guts, courage and backbone to fight communism in Vietnam - then I no longer see why we should have a military.

Just think of all the billions the Democrats can save, as can the people who voted for them, by getting rid of our Navy, Air Force, Army and Marines so they can push their socialist agenda.
