Why I Love The Pathetic "Conservative Democrat" Spin
1) Two days ago you couldn't find a GOP running in this country who wasn't running against "a radical left wing moonbat." But now, the Dems won because they're CONSERVATIVE!

2) I'm all for keeping the Culture War mythology alive and well in Freeperland. If they wont accept a candidate who is pro-choice for instance, GOOD FOR US!! We just can't make the mistake we made in 2000 where nobody ever confronted Bush on it and allowed him to talk code to the fundies without taking a stand.

The question is "do you regard abortion in all stages as murder? Will you work to outlaw it in the US?" WINNING QUESTION FOR US FOLKS.

3) The GOP has set themselves up. They can't win without the freepers/fundies showing up in mass; but those people are a minority and to placate them, you have to alienate the majority who are in our "S-P" "stay out of my personal life" camp! Let's fire up the 10 Commandment Monument wing of the GOP so that they will reject any non-theocrat.

JUST A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO THEIR GREAT HOPE WAS SENATOR MACACA! Now the only way they can win is with Rudy or McCain and they are unacceptable to the hard-cores out there.

IT'S ALL GOOD DU-ERS....they've been talking out of both sides of their mouths for too damn long, now the fundies want something to show for it and they can't deliver that and win the general too.

1. Democrats stayed-home in the party almost to a man this election
according to Gallup.

That included the Conservatives...

2. We definitely have room for TRUE conservatives
As opposed to phony theocrats...I have no problem with religious people at all as long as they don't try to legislate their religion, those are TRADITIONAL AMERICAN SECULAR PROGRESSIVE VALUES btw Bill-O!

3. Yep.
I like pay as you go (which the Republicans call tax and spend) as a fiscal policy, too. I don't see mortgaging the nation to support Paris Hilton and a few thousand just like her.

4. Bushtards said "San Francisco values" and the voters said "Yes!"
