Lot's of talk about Conyers. I hope we've got something good in line for Frank. After six years of this WH gay bashing, I hope he makes them hurt.

7. That is good news.
Perhaps he can start to address the draconian bankruptcy laws, as presently written.

2. Barney has been in the House for 20 years, right?
He's seriously due for something important. Barney Frank is a good dedicated Democrat.

4. I don't know how long.
But yeah, he's got to be one of the most powerful reps in the house. I'd support him being Speaker if the position weren't already filled.

3. Me too.
Frank fights hard for the progressive ideals of our party.

8. I agree. He's really fast on the comebacks.
I became a big, big fan of his during the Clinton impeachment hearings.

9. If Kerry retires in 2008 to run for president, Frank is likely to run for his seat

11. I sure as hell hope so
The repugs have been invoking his name as a scare tactic leading up to the election. I heard a really VILE anti-Barney-Frank ad.
I hope he's in a position to really push some of those assholes around.
