I took a different approach than most of the post-mortem cartoons, and perhaps a surprising one since I'm not much of a fan of the recipient of my first "Unsung Heroes" non-award.

2. I'm glad you gave Kerry the 'non-award', but I'm not convinced that his

flub has ruined his career.

But I was wondering...did he and Theresa get invited to any of the parties BEFORE the house was called for the dems? Or was he still poison until they knew the results? But I think you're right, this probably won't end his career, but it will add one more thing to his detractors' quiver, like inventing the internet and Love Story did for Al Gore. He might run again, but I think he'd be foolish to try.

4. Nice artwork, but why buy into the REPUBLICAN LIE MACHINE?

Which by the way also COMPLETELY FABRICATED the Al Gore invented the Internet story and completely twisted the Love Story stuff in the same way.

Believe me, I'm the LAST ONE to buy into the republican lie machine! LOL! Believe me, it's pure satire. Even though I don't think it requires that much explanation, I did write an accompanying rant to go along with it, which I suggested you read in the op. :shrug:

Actually I am pretty lightened-up! But still feeling bruised by the number of DU posts I saw where Du'ers bought into the spin that "Kerry Insulted Our Troops!"
