It's funny--but isn't Impeachment putting the Cart before the Horse. |
|
Shit--- we can't predict the future. There's no telling what the Dems will find out as they dig through the sewer of this Administrations corruptness.

Why don't you understand that the Repukes would *ROAST* the Democrats if even one of their House members started talking about impeachment right now. It would be hubris to do so. "First the punishment; then the trial."
Let it go. What happens will happen.

4. I agree. The Dems are in no position to rule out impeachment at this point. |
|
Unless they've made an under the table deal, that is.
They cannot possibly be in a position to say what will and what will not happen after they take power. There's too much that needs to be looked at. They cannot say one way or the other at this point, unless a deal has been made.
I really don't like the words they're using.
"There's no way we can possibly know what lies ahead, but we are going to do our duty and provide the checks and balances required of us by the Constitution. Only then can we say what will happen." Sounds better to me.

Use investigations as a threat. We should be able to find 16 repubs that don't want to go to jail. Of course, we have to wait for the Abramoff's senators to fall first. Wouldn't do to target someone we don't have to.
