Speculation is that Schwarzenegger will challenge Boxer in 2010 |
|
when she is up for re-election. With his political rehabilitation and winning 57% of the vote for Governor, it's not too outlandish of a thought. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/11/08/BAG11M872545.DTL

4. While she is more formidable |

she is also not as popular in the state, according to polls, as Sen. Feinstein. I think an Arnold-Boxer race would be very close. But four years is a lifetime in politics. It depends on how Arnold's second term as Governor goes and what national trends are in 2010.

8. This could be a good thing |

Arnold realized that his attempt to suck up with the ultra-wingnuts in the GOP was a dismal failure. It almost killed him politically. Since he's returned to the center and coddled moderates and liberals, his fortunes have risen.
If he truly wants to seek the Senate seat, he'll have to continue this course. Of course, Boxer would kick his ass anyway, but I doubt he'll return to the hard right approach.

10. One of 100 ???? But it maybe as high as he can go |
|
and he sure has an ego that is pretty big. I think he could get it, people do like him. He seems to sway with what ever the voters want. To bad McCain can not do it as well.

11. Yeah right...Good luck, Chump... |

He "ran" against someone who didn't run, to be quite honest. I know that spoke to others about how we hadn't seen ANY ADVERTISEMENT from Angelides until last week and what little he showed was PATHETIC. Sir Ecumenist commented that to him, Angelides looked like he WANTED TO LOSE...
Arnie Von Fondle&Grope is a fool to think that he could run successfully against Boxer. He's a classic case of a tragically pervasive case of self delusion. What he needs to be concerned about is the fact that when real investigations about the secret energy meetings Cheney had with Ahnie in LA in 2000, he'll find himself on the legitimately used end of a recall groundswell to be hopefully followed criminal prosecution.
