They don't take defeat well, do they?
Our local State Rep race went to the incumbent Dem (5 terms). However, everything else was Republican---pretty much down the line in the entire district.
So what does this loser Republican candidate say when he lost?
" A spokesman for the Hollingsworth campaign said he believes his candidate fell victim to the national political scene."
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
How is that for denial?
The voters picked ONE candidate out of all candidates (for a State seat) and punished him for what happened in Washington. Ahh the hubris.
Hey Kirby? You know what? The voters just didn't like you--that's all.
Had nothing to do with anything else BUT that.
On an interesting side note...my daughter's boss is VERY Republican and tried to talk her into voting for Hollingsworth. After the election, he admitted he changed his mind and voted for Homer.
