Ed Bradley passed away
NEW YORK - Ed Bradley, the award-winning television journalist who broke racial barriers at CBS News and created a distinctive, powerful body of work during his 26 years on "60 Minutes," died Thursday. He was 65.

He will be missed. He was a great journalist and compassionate human being.

Please do not belittle his achievements with the label of "African-American journalist". He was a journalist and brave man (and happened to be African American). I hate when the media tries to put the achievements of someone in place by adding the title of "African American" or such. He was a great man, better than many other journalists regardless of color.

Thanks for the stories and courage.

3. I recall his interview with actress Anna Deavere Smith
who is known for her skill at mimicry. Her interpretation of him was of someone searching, for an answer, how to phrase something succinctly. I admire Ed Bradley greatly, and will miss him.
